Met with his excellency, The First Citizen of India, Esteemed President Shri Pranab Mukherjee Sir and presented memo pad on various Student & Socio-Political issues. The above following issues include
@ Farmer Issues
A recent government study estimated that over 32 percent of India’s rural population is illiterate, compared to 15 percent in urban areas. And for farmers, that percentage is even higher. ‘Cultivators’ of Indian nation, now total some 119 million ,are the second-largest group in the workforce in absolute numbers and accounts for up to 18 percent of India’s GDP but sadly, India’s farmer struggles to read and write. In a country where agriculture remains the largest employment sector, the farmer fails to grow as an entrepreneur and use the modern technology which needs some basic literacy ,due to lack of proper access to education. And without increasing access to education or literacy, it’s tough to imagine a change in the status quo. Indian farmers had been using the traditional methods ,even today they pass or tend to get the information ,verbally. But , the evolution of agricultural technology and concerns of climate change, unpredictable monsoons and irrigation levels indicates that traditional knowledge is no longer enough to prevent crops from failing, a systematic, up-to-date, easily accessible information about crops is more vital than ever which can only be available to a person who is literate.
India witnessed instances where 25,000 Indian farmers approached you to seek permission to hang themselves on Independence day, such is the gravity of the situation. Our farmer is dying with agrarian distress daily. India is losing 2,035 farmers every single day, says a study by an NGO. We hope you will stand by the farmer as s/he is the one who feeds us and enlighten the farming community with this ‘Non-Formal Education’ policy so that many generations can proudly say, Jai Kisan!
1) Regarding the pathetic situation of the Universities in Telangana State. There are no permanent Vice Chancellors for most of the universities in the State which in turn affecting the whole education system at a higher level of education. It is only our country which has world’s largest youth population. If they are denied of quality education at this stage, it would affect the country itself.

Also requested regarding the issues of migrated students those who are seeking abroad for further education and facing problems there.
2) About the violation of Constitution of India by not implementing the Anti-Defection Law properly. There were many petitions to the Hon'ble Speaker of Telangana State Assembly in which we have also represented him but they were not yet being processed since from many months which in turn is a violation of Constitution. As you are the responsible person for protecting and safeguarding the Constitution as well as law, requested to constitute new laws and put a proposal to Central Govt.
3) On high-priority there is an immediate necessity of Separate High Court for the State of Telangana as well as a bench of Supreme Court to be placed in the Hyderabad.
4) Currently in India, Women & Girls are facing a severe sexual harassment throughout the Country. Parliament passed many Bills on sexual harassment and also implemented #NirbhayaAct, even though still harassment & ragging are continuing. As a Socially Thinking people we as a responsible citizens of India, were requesting you to amend severe Acts on accused persons and punish them within No time.
President sir have appreciated the initiative taken by #TelanganaGovt for implementation of #SheTeams for safety and protection of women and also applauded us for taking up a Serious issue.
